Why is your Woodworking Business Opportunity better than the others on
the internet?
There are two main reasons why you should select our Woodworking
Business Program.
First, as we described on our Home
page, we offer unique, Award Winning Adirondack
furniture, where other companies offer only the basic chairs. Don't
get me wrong, we do have your basic Adirondack chairs, but we also offer
chairs like the Adirondack Beer Bottle Chair & Footrest and the Adirondack
Shark Chair & Footrest. Also
Jack Briscoe is a Marketing Expert that has put together strategic
marketing - advertising promotions. He has made it simple with tips and
techniques for advertising and marketing.
How do I sell the products?
In the Marketing Manual CD, you will find all the unique advertising,
marketing and sales techniques. How you sell depends on several
factors; do you want to sell wholesale or retail? Do you want to sell
at craft shows, etc. or use direct mail or the internet? Are you
going to have a sales person or do it all yourself? We cover it all in
our marketing manual. Go to our Marketing-Advertising section
"How to Sell" for additional
information. We give you Proven insider's secrets to selling your
chairs at craft shows. Or how to become a super sales person and the
secrets about wholesaling. How to produce a mail out of 10,000 flyers and not have to pay a dime for postage or
printing. How to get FREE Publicity and we'll even give you the
marketing material with your name, your address, your phone number and your
own web site already on it. And today with so many people looking for
work, it's so easy to find a sales
representatives.
What about
Brochures?
Not only will we design your brochure, here is a list of everything you will
get, all printed with
your name, address, phone and web site address:
> Brochures
> Post Cards
> Business Cards
> Product Sheets
> Cover Letters
> Leader Head, etc.
We will send you a CD with everything already to be printed on your computer
printer.
What about a Web Site?
When you purchase one of our Woodworking Business programs, you will receive
a custom web site designed with your company name. It’s great to have
all of the products that you offer on the internet. All of your
advertising will have your internet address included, so anyone, at anytime
can view your entire line by simply logging onto your web site. It
will also include all of the Adirondack Chairs photos and information that
you’ve ordered. It will include your contact information; your phone
number, your web site address, and your business address. There will
also be a order form that can be printed out for your customers to mail to
you.
How long will it be before I'm making money?
After you have received and read over the woodworking program manuals, you
should be up and running in 1 to 2 weeks ready to sell your Adirondack
Chairs. How much money you make depends on many things, like how hard
you want to work and whether or not you choose to bring in others to help
manufacture or sell. Do you have family members willing to pitch in
and share some of the work? Sometimes that can work extremely well, or
perhaps you may choose to
just hire some extra part time help when needed.
How much skill is required?
Our products can be very easily made by a beginner woodworker.
First review the construction manual CD then watch our Video on How to build
a Adirondack Chair. You will be surprised how fast you can build the
chairs after you have built a few.
How much money does it take to get started in this
woodworking business?
You do not need much money to get started in this business. In
addition to purchasing one of our Woodworking Programs, you will need some basic tools, some of which you
already have.
You'll also need to purchase some wood and hardware. We'll show you
how to get the highest quality wood for the lowest price. And when it
comes to hardware, we'll show you how you can get the highest quality
hardware at a quarter of what you would pay at Home Depot.
Determine your schedule
Depending on how you want to sell your products will determine your work
schedule. If you sell primarily through festivals and craft shows, then your
production schedule will have deadlines before the show start. If you
sell through established retail outlets such as craft galleries, garden
stores or vineyards, they also will have their busy time of the
year, which will determine your work production schedule. So you must
create a marketing plan first in order to get a good idea of your schedule.
Is this a franchise?
No, this is not a franchise. This will be your own woodworking business.
There are no franchise fees that you have to pay upfront. And we do not
take any percentage of your sales.
What about Assembly Jigs that other companies
offer?
I'm sure that the assembly jigs work fine for some furniture. But our
Adirondack Chairs do not require any expensive Assembly Jigs. Our
Adirondack Chairs consists of four sub assemblies. They are the Seat
Frame Assembly, the Arm Assembly, the Back Assembly and the Footrest
Assembly. It's not necessary to use a jig, in fact with our Adirondack
Chairs it wouldn't make it any faster to use the jigs. You will not
have to pay us $500 to $600 per Jig
for each chair. That's thousands of dollars you'll save when you buy one of
our Woodworking Business Programs.
What about the Full Size
Wood Templates that other
companies offer?
Instead of charging you $300 to $400 for templates for each chair, we give
you an extra set of woodworking plans that have the Full Size Templates
printed on them. You can use one set of woodworking plans to make ¼”
hardboard templates for each part. You simply spray on a multipurpose
spray adhesive onto the back of the woodworking plan paper template and
press it onto ¼” hardboard. Let it dry, then cut out the
template with your band saw or scroll saw. Then when you get ready to make a
chair, take the 1/4" hardboard template and place it on top of your wood and
using a pencil, draw around the template onto your wood. The hardboard
templates make it very fast and precise. Instead of costing you $300
to $400 for templates for each chair, it will only cost you a few dollars
for the 1/4" hardboard you use to make your own templates for each chair.
Once again, you will be saving thousands of dollars with our Woodworking
Business Program.
Why don't you offer cedar wood in your woodworking
program like some of the other companies?
You can save yourself thousands and thousands of dollars if you simply
buy your own wood from a mill or a specialty cedar lumber company in your
own town or one close by. And don't forget the shipping costs that you
would pay to ship the wood across the country. That is another savings
that you will have. We have a few Adirondack chairs that are painted,
so you could use pine wood, because it's going to have the protected paint
on the chair. Pine is very easy to work with and is dirt cheap.
We'll tell you how you can get wholesale prices on the lumber along with
wholesale prices on the hardware and you'll save big time.
How much space is needed for my shop?
It depends on how much volume your doing. But, at first all that
is needed is a single car garage or a small shop.
What kind of woodworking tools will I need?
I would suggest that you have the following tools:
> Table Saw
> Band Saw or Scroll Saw
> Hand Drill
> Palm Sander
> Miter Saw
Can I do this part time?
Yes, this is a great part time business. You can make the Adirondack
chairs right in your own shop, whenever you have some extra time and feel
like doing some pleasant wood working. If
you decide that you, or your sales reprehensive, want to exhibit at craft
shows or flea markets, you will be deciding for yourself exactly which shows you want to attend, so you can pick
the weekends you want to work. If you're selling wholesale and mail
order, you can make the pieces ahead of time, and then ship them out as you
receive orders.
Is this something retired people can do?
Yes, you can work as much or as little as you like. Remember, your the
boss. This is a great opportunity for retired people who want to earn
some extra money. In the summertime when your traveling in your motor
home, take along with you Adirondack Chairs that are in kit form. That
way you can have lots of inventory in a small space. You can attend
craft shows or just set up a few chairs in your camp site with a price tag
on them. Our Adirondack Chairs are so unique they actually sell
themselves.
What
if I have a web site already?
Even if you already have a website, I would still recommend that you use the one we design for your Adirondack chairs. Having more than one
website can help you get an edge on your competition, increase your
presence, serve different functions and target different audiences more
effectively. We will do a SEO - Search Engine Optimization on your web site and submit
it to all of the major search engines. Your new web site will be
designed so the search engines can find you. The meta tags, keywords,
descriptions will all be designed with "Adirondack Chairs" as the main
search topic.
